Frequently Asked Questions

  • Breathwork is a guided practice that uses intentional breathing patterns to regulate your nervous system, release emotional tension, and reconnect you with your body. It’s safe, deeply restorative, and entirely natural. Each session is led with care to support whatever you're moving through - stress, grief, anxiety, past trauma, PTSD or even just daily life overload.

  • Absolutely. Many of our clients are first-timers. Our beginner sessions are slow-paced, supportive, and designed to gently introduce you to the practice — no experience or prep required. You’ll be guided step-by-step to help you feel comfortable and safe.

  • Sessions can take place wherever you feel most at ease. Options include our studio space at Exhale Yamba, virtually over Zoom, outdoors in natural settings (like the beach or bushland), or even in your own home. We’ll always tailor the space to meet your needs.

  • Bring a yoga mat or towel, a water bottle, and wear comfy clothes you can relax in. If you're joining an outdoor or nature-based session, we might suggest a blanket, sunscreen, or layers — we’ll always let you know ahead of time.
